What is the Common Eligibility Test (CET Haryana)?

The Haryana Staff Selection Commission (HSSC) has started a one-time registration portal to apply for the Common Eligibility Test (CET Haryana) which has also been linked with Family Identity Card (PPP).

As per the instructions of the State Government, now eligible candidates for HSSC Group C and D will not be required to apply again and again. All these posts have to be registered only once. For this, the examination can be conducted at least once and twice a year.

According to Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar, HSSC after January 2021 will be applicable for all the vacancies of Group C and D.

  • Reserved category:  Rs. 250 / – 
  • The application fee will be a lump sum that can be submitted online through debit card/credit card / net banking etc.

What is the eligibility for Common Eligibility Test (CET Haryana)?

  • The criteria for HSSC Group C and D posts will be as per the guidelines of the Haryana State Government.
  • Group C: Senior Secondary or 10 + 2 / Bachelor’s educational qualification will be compulsory.
  • Group D: Only secondary school/matric pass candidates will be eligible.

How to apply for Common Eligibility Test (CET Haryana) online?

To apply online on the One Time Registration Portal, the applicant must have a Family ID. Applicants can register themselves with the help of a family identity card

After registration on the One Time Registration portal, the applicant will get a unique login ID with the help of which the applicant can improve their profile. This portal collects the details of the applicant from the family identity card, therefore, for any change, the applicant will be asked to correct the family identity card. 

  • This application form is for one-time registration to appear in the Haryana State Common Eligibility Test, which is mandatory to become eligible to submit the application for recruitment to the post of Group C or Group D in the Haryana Staff Selection Commission.
  • This application form is provisional (temporary) and is subject to other terms and conditions of eligibility/acceptance at the time of advertisement for the recruitment.
  • The applicant will have to upload self-attested documentary evidence in support of his claim (s) along with the application form and if he is unable to provide it, the application will not be considered incomplete and will be rejected.
  • If an applicant gives incorrect or false information or hides anything while filling the application, his / her candidature will be rejected and he/she will be held without hearing, ie at any stage before the recruitment or appointment, of the hearing. Will be done without giving opportunity.
  • After filling all the columns of the application form and before submitting the same, each applicant should download a PDF soft copy of their form along with the uploaded documents and also take a print out of it for checking the correctness.
  • An applicant who has ever been prevented from appearing in any examination / experiential course by any agency/selection committee of the Government of Haryana or any other government or has been stopped/convicted by any court shall submit his application Will not be eligible for
  • An applicant has to submit his application for registration only once. If the application has already been submitted on this portal of the Haryana Staff Selection Commission, there is no need to resubmit it.
  • The applicant has to fill all the columns carefully. Later, any application regarding any modification in it will not be considered.

What will be the selection process for Common Eligibility Test (CET Haryana)? 

The selection of HSSC Group C and D posts will now be done according to the Common Eligibility Test. The selection of Group D will be based on the marks obtained in CET Quantity while for Group C a Screen Test will be conducted in addition to CET Quantity. Nearly three times the candidates will be called for the screen test.

What will be the syllabus for Common Eligibility Test (CET Haryana)?

The Common Eligibility Test will be of 100 marks. In this exam, questions of General Studies, General Science, Current Affairs, General Reasoning, General Mathematics, Agriculture, Animal Husbandry, and other fields will be included.
