- For trades of Constable (Carpenter), Constable (Plumber), Constable (Painter), Constable (Electrician), Constable (Pump Operator), and Constable (Upholsterer):
- Matriculation or equivalent from a recognized Board;
- Two-year certificate course from the Industrial Training Institute (ITI) in the trade or a similar trade; or
- One-year certificate course from Industrial Training Institute (ITI) or Government-affiliated Vocational Institute with at least one year of experience in the trade;
- For trades of Constable (Cobbler), Constable (Tailor), Constable (Washerman). Constable (Barber), Constable (Sweeper), and Constable (Khoji/Syce):
Matriculation or equivalent from a recognized Board;
