What is HTET?
Haryana Teacher Eligibility Test (HTET) examination is conducted by the Board of Secondary Education Haryana. It is necessary to pass this exam for an appointment to the post of a teacher in Haryana, hence it is called Haryana Teacher Eligibility Test.
A total of three categories have been prescribed for all the schools run by the Haryana government for one teacher post for which Haryana Teacher Eligibility Test is conducted:
- Level I: for teaching classes I to V (PRT)
- Level II: for teaching Classes VI to VIII (TGT)
- Level III: for post-graduate teaching (PGT)
How many times Htet is conducted in a year?
HTET is organized once a year. No limit has been set for efforts made to clear This exam. Candidate can try many times for this and the candidates who have passed HTET can also take the exam again.
HTET Qualification and Validity
150 questions of different subjects are asked in exam. Htet exam is of 150 minutes (2:30 hours). To pass this exam, it is mandatory to get 60% (90 marks) except SC class and SC It is necessary to get 55% (43 marks) for the class.
Once passed the exam, the validity of HTET certificate is 6 years before it was 5 years, which has been extended to 29th of September, 2020.
Syllabus of HTET
All the questions asked in the exam are multiple-choice, all the question papers are divided into four parts. It is necessary for the candidate to pass all the sections.
